Fall Dramas to Watch

Dramas are my bread and butter of entertainment. Besides film, I get a lot of my inspiration from them.

Suits - Now I’ve kinda sorta forgotten what happened last season (thankfully, like many dramas, I’m sure its all recapped in the first two minutes of the premiere). The shows alright, the drama is alright. Watchable. It’s already started, so I need to just dive into it.

Glee - This one is one of the most anticipated, especially after Cory Monteith’s tragic death earlier this summer. Its very rare when a show must work around a loss of a character, especially since his character Finn was finally about to get out of his rut and pursue a career in teaching. It will be very interesting to see how they have dealt with the tragedy in a show that is normally quite uplifting.

Nashville - I got into this show late, but caught up just before the season finale, which allowed me to get so into the drama of it all, which is pretty great. Beyond that, however, the music in it still finds its way on my current iPod playlist. Namely this one from the season finale.

The Walking Dead - This show has its moments. Beyond its “graphic novelly” and stylistic intrigue, when everyone keeps dying it’s become extremely difficult to care about them.

Once Upon a Time - I didn’t think I would like this show. But it grew on me fast, and would on anyone who ever loved fairy tales when they were a kid.

Mistresses - I think this is one of those summer shows, but they like to take a hiatus mid-season and come back in the winter. I keep hearing about this one, I think I’ll check it out. I’m assuming the name says it all.
